Ex- Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Prosecutors have announced that a ex- doctor now faces charges for performing sexual assaults against thirty-eight victims who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault – including some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021.
A deputy chief CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 sexual offences include:
- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
